Global Art Daily is an independent publication dedicated to archiving the growing art scene of the Arabian Gulf, from a global perspective.
Born as a blog in Abu Dhabi in 2015, we are today comprised of art critics spread throughout continents. Our contributors are both ‘cool-hunters’ and academically-inclined. They are globally-minded, often come from mixed cultural backgrounds themselves, and highlight artists and projects blurring national boundaries.
We pride ourselves in archiving growing art scenes, as they emerge, and be a repository of artist interviews online, especially for Arab and Asian artists.&nbsp;Global Art Daily E-Issues are published twice a year, and are completely free to read and browse. Each E-Issue and their following ++ articles are made possible by an Editorial Board who volunteers their time and energy to archive art scenes of the different cities they find themselves in.&nbsp;

E-Issues is Global Art Daily’s vehicle for amplifying local voices from the global art world, with a special focus on our home region of the Arabian Gulf. Every E-Issue will focus on a specific city or cluster of cities (e.g. AUH/DXB), and will highlight people and institutions that make up its local creative scene.&nbsp;Geographical Reach
We are global in essence, welcoming submissions from around the world. We place however special attention to our home region of the Gulf, and our country of founding: the United Arab Emirates. Our readership spans the Gulf, the U.S., the U.K, and Japan.Mission
We understand travel might be reserved for the few. We hope our E-Issues will allow readers to travel continents and understand the cultural climate of different cities from the inside out.Our goal is to present to our readers a cultural portrait of a city that they may not be able to Google. We do this through in-depth interviews with local artists and curators. Our Editorial Board invites artists for interviews and discusses at length their different experiences relevant to their specific art scene. Our recurring sections are What’s On, Pop(Corn), and Rapport.&nbsp;
Because of their digital format, we consider E-Issues as living documents open to amendments and changes post-publication. We will not remove an article after it is published, but we might add new articles to an E-Issue (e.g. E-Issue 01 ++) after its publication.Network
Global Art Daily is young in essence: we privilege young contributors and young editors, and we pride ourselves to be the first publication where many writers in the region published their first exhibition reviews or artist interviews. We place very high importance on mentorship and creating an engaging learning environment for all of our contributors globally.

We aim to be a platform for artists, curators, musicians, fashion designers, stylists, art directors, musicians, content creators, and other creatives alike to speak about their own environments. We seek genuine and long-lasting relationships between our contributors, readers, and the artists and institutions supporting us.

Welcome to the (rest of the) world.<img width="5513" height="5513" width_o="5513" height_o="5513" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/0c6921dd0b28baf15bdf6bba5ba61b9c195f4aede4f2f1f108d11812678ebb29/gad-logo-black-stripped-vector-2.png" data-mid="78356829" border="0" data-scale="11" data-icon-mode src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/0c6921dd0b28baf15bdf6bba5ba61b9c195f4aede4f2f1f108d11812678ebb29/gad-logo-black-stripped-vector-2.png" />Global Art Daily&nbsp;E-Issues is made possible thanks to ad-honorem staff writers, content creators, and editors based between Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S.
