Join us for a conversation on the digitalization of networks in the art world, from London to Beijing to Lisbon to Tokyo. This is the fifth edition of the GAD Talk Series, which will foster dialogues in the global art world during this pandemic. The topic of this conversation is “How To Create Digital Networks in The Art World?” With a distinguished panel of speakers including former museum directors, conference and symposium founders, and entrepreneurs, we will explore the opportunities and challenges that digitalization and remote work impose on art professionals — from both European and Asian perspectives.
Topics explored include: Did the pandemic accelerate networking amongst art professionals? How to leverage and scale digital interconnectivity between art professionals, and how to approach the museum, art market, and independent curatorial sectors in different ways? What social media apps are preferred by the global art world, and how do these preferences differ from Europe to China? What alternatives do art professionals have to Instagram?
Organized as an open discussion, this panel will be live-streamed on Global Art Daily's Youtube channel and will welcome live questions from the audience.
Panel:
Deborah Najar, Founder, Art Mavens Nicole Ching, Founder, Museum 2050
Pauline Foessel, Founder, Art Curator Grid
